First I hit up the fab Curl Fest event held in Prospect Parks, Brooklyn New York. A festival for curly haired beauties . We danced, ate, took lots of pics, got some yummy products, sat to chat and chill on the green lawn. So much curly fun!

Then migrated to
a dope block party; a popular Brooklyn culture of a neighborhood party on the streets. I loved this chilled block party. The organizers had food, games, live jazzy bands, art and so much more for attendees to enjoy.

Lil Mama, a beloved prominent and multi-talented American Hip Hop recording artist who comes from Brooklyn NYC, performed at the party.... so cool! She's a talented rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, spokesperson, dancer and actress. Gotta love her, she always takes time to show her hometown some love.
